Zinnwald is a wholly owned integrated lithium development in the Eastern Erzgebirge near the Czech border. The plan combines underground long-hole open-stope mining and paste backfill, a 9.1 kilometre underground conveyor tunnel, magnetic beneficiation and integrated pyro- and hydrometallurgical production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide at Liebenau.
