STREAMMARKETS

Privacy Policy

Effective 16 September 2026

1. Who we are and what we collect

Stream Markets is operated by Stream Markets UK Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17445347 (registered office: 46-54 High Street, Ingatestone, Essex, CM4 9DW, United Kingdom), which is the data controller for the personal data described here. We collect account data (email, display name) when you sign up. Usage data (pages viewed, queries run, API calls) via server logs and analytics. Payment data is handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers. Cookies for session and preferences.

2. How we use it

To operate, secure, and improve the service; to bill subscribers; to send essential account and service messages; to understand how users interact with features. We do not sell personal data.

3. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance and anonymised usage. No personally identifying user profiles are built for ads.

4. Data hosting

User data and our public-filings database are hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL + Storage) in the EU-West-1 region. The application runs on Vercel.

5. StreamBot and your data

We save your messages, replies, attached context and related results so StreamBot can answer questions and you can return to previous chats. Signed-in history belongs to your account; signed-out history is linked to a browser session. Starting a new chat keeps earlier chats in History. Providing these features is part of delivering the service you request. We also keep usage and security records to apply allowances and protect the service.

Chats are stored in Supabase and processed through our application on Vercel. For model-backed answers, we send OpenAI your message, relevant recent messages, attached context and records needed to answer, including notifications when you ask about them. These providers may process data outside the UK and EEA; our database location does not mean all processing stays there.

OpenAI’s standard API policy does not use API content for model training unless the customer opts in. We request that responses are not saved as retrievable responses by OpenAI. This does not eliminate provider retention: abuse-monitoring logs may contain content for up to 30 days, with exceptions, and other temporary processing can apply. See OpenAI’s data controls.

Chat access is restricted to your account or browser session through our server. Supabase provides encryption in transit and at rest. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted: our service and authorised administrators with infrastructure access can access stored content. Please do not submit passwords, API keys, payment details or sensitive personal information.

To delete a chat, open History using the clock icon in the StreamBot header, select the bin beside the chat, then confirm Delete?. Once deletion succeeds, the conversation, messages and associated stored results are removed from our active server database. This is not just hiding the chat. New chat and dismissing a Continue chat suggestion do not delete history. Watchlists, saved research screens and their alerts remain until you remove them separately; usage counters also remain, so deleting a chat does not reset your allowance.

Inactive signed-in chats become eligible for cleanup after 180 days; signed-out chats after 30 days. Cleanup runs daily in batches. Deleted content may remain in backups until those backups expire, and provider records follow their separate retention rules; deletion is not an immediate erasure of every copy. For a personal-data request, email privacy@stream-markets.com.

6. Retention

Account and usage data retained while your account is active. On deletion, we remove personal identifiers within 30 days; anonymised aggregates may persist.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion, or object to or request restriction of processing, by emailing privacy@stream-markets.com. We normally respond within one month and will explain any permitted extension. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

8. Third-party sources

The mining data we publish is sourced from public filings. Source documents remain with the issuers; we link rather than re-host. This policy covers only personal data about you as a user of Stream Markets.

9. Changes

Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. The effective date above reflects the most recent version.
