Ashton is a wholly owned underground longwall operation with a coal handling and preparation plant and rail siding; its historical open-cut operation is complete. At 31 December 2025, Ashton and RUMEx contained 190 Mt of reported coal resources, while RUMEx held 20 Mt of recoverable reserves and 10 Mt of marketable reserves. The approved underground integration provides an operating pathway through 31 December 2035. Ashton Lower Barrett reserves were revised to zero in 2025 following a reassessment of technical viability.
