Xali retains its El Oro hard-rock interests below the 2,400-metre elevation. Remedioambiente holds operating rights above that elevation on five concessions and pays Xali a 3% net smelter return royalty. Several other concession titles were cancelled by the Mexican Mining Bureau and are being challenged through legal proceedings.
