Neves-Corvo is a mechanized underground copper-zinc-lead-silver mine in Portugal's Iberian Pyrite Belt, operated through Boliden's wholly owned SOMINCOR subsidiary. Copper and zinc ores are processed through separate concentrators, with bench-and-fill and drift-and-fill among the principal mining methods. Wheaton does not hold project equity; its stream covers 100% of silver production for a 50-year term beginning June 5, 2007. Boliden's internally approved 2025 life-of-mine plan extends the operation to 2041, although additional tailings-storage studies and investment are required to support that full operating horizon.
