Marathon is a fully permitted, feasibility-stage open-pit copper-palladium project approximately 10 km north of Marathon, Ontario. Generation PGM Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Generation Mining, owns the project. The November 1, 2024-effective feasibility study contemplates conventional crushing, SAG and ball milling followed by copper-PGM flotation at peak throughput of 10.1 Mt/y over 12.5 years. Wheaton holds a stream over payable gold and platinum production. Ausenco has been selected as EPCM contractor, and Generation Mining reported approximately C$969 million of committed or approved project funding by June 22, 2026, subject to definitive documentation and completion of a fully funded construction package.
