Fenix is Rio2's open-pit, run-of-mine heap-leach gold mine in Chile's Maricunga Mineral Belt. The active Stage 1 feasibility case processes 20,000 tonnes per day and carries a 17-year mine life. Wheaton holds a life-of-mine gold stream whose current delivery tiers begin at 22% of payable gold, subject to the amended stream terms and delivery schedule. Rio2 is also preparing a pre-feasibility study for a potential expansion to 80,000 tonnes per day.
