Copper World is a fully permitted, open-pit copper development in Pima County, Arizona. Phase I is designed as a 20-year standalone operation on private and state land, using a 60,000-short-ton-per-day concentrator followed by a staged Albion concentrate-leach and SX-EW facility. Hudbay owns 70% through Copper World LLC and Mitsubishi Corporation owns 30%. Wheaton holds life-of-mine streams over 100% of payable gold and silver, with the parties having agreed in principle to enhanced terms including up to $70 million of contingent expansion funding and ongoing payments based on 15% of spot prices. The current economic case is the July 2023 PFS; a definitive feasibility study and detailed engineering were advancing ahead of a potential 2026 sanction decision.
