Constancia is Hudbay's wholly owned, large-scale open-pit copper operation in Chumbivilcas Province, southern Peru. Sulphide ore is processed by grinding and flotation into copper and molybdenum concentrates, with silver and gold reporting principally to the copper concentrate. Mining at the higher-grade Pampacancha satellite pit ended in the fourth quarter of 2025, and its remaining stockpiled ore was processed in early 2026. Constancia is now exclusively mining the main deposit. Wheaton holds life-of-mine streams covering 100% of silver production and 50% of gold production. A 2026 environmental permit amendment raised steady-state mill capacity to 34 Mtpa, while pebble-crusher and third-flotation-line projects are scheduled to support the higher throughput rate.
