Blackwater is a 100%-owned Artemis Gold open-pit gold-silver mine operated through BW Gold Ltd. Commercial production began on May 1, 2025. Ore is treated through crushing, grinding, gravity recovery, whole-ore cyanide leaching and carbon-in-leach circuits to produce doré. Wheaton is entitled to 8% of payable gold until cumulative deliveries reach 464,000 ounces and 4% thereafter, plus 50% of payable silver until 17.8 million ounces have been delivered and 33% thereafter. The operating Phase 1 plant is being expanded to 8 Mtpa through Phase 1A by the end of 2026, while the board-approved Expanded Phase 2 program is intended to lift total capacity to 21 Mtpa before the end of 2028.
