The Lorne Project covers approximately 250 square kilometres in Argyll and combines the Lagalochan and Ardlochan porphyry centres, about eight kilometres apart along a fault corridor with at least ten kilometres of strike extent. Lagalochan has 11,090 metres of historical and modern diamond drilling across 56 holes, while 2025 work at Ardlochan confirmed a gold-mineralized breccia pipe at least 140 metres in diameter. Western Gold holds secure mineral and land-access agreements and a right to apply to mine Lagalochan.
