Svabovce comprises five historically mined manganese sub-deposits southeast of Poprad with approximately 35 kilometres of old underground workings. A 2000 Slovak GKZ estimate of 13.9 Mt at 14.47% Mn is historical, partly extends outside the current licence and is not a current mineral resource.
