Neita Norte is a 10,902 hectare exploration concession covering prospective volcanic rocks of the Cretaceous Tireo Formation. Unigold holds the concession, while Barrick Gold Corporation manages and funds exploration under an earn-in agreement. Barrick can earn 60% by spending at least US$12 million over eight years and delivering a pre-feasibility study. It can subsequently increase its interest to 80% by sole-funding a feasibility study within the following four years; exploration under the agreement began in 2024 and remained ongoing in the March 2026 filing.
