Lapointe comprises two wholly owned 21-year Ontario mining licences covering 23 hectares in Sharpe and Savard townships. Caustic fusion recovered 20 microdiamonds, including a 0.0665-carat clear white stone, but a later greater-than-50-tonne reverse-circulation sample returned no macrodiamonds above 0.8 millimetres.
