Araxá and Patrocínio were operated as linked open-pit phosphate properties, with Patrocínio ore transported to Araxá for processing. Mosaic began idling both in 2026, classified Araxá as held for sale and placed Patrocínio in care and maintenance while evaluating niobium opportunities.
