Challenger West lies southwest of Coober Pedy and west of the historic Challenger gold mine in South Australia's Mulgathing Province. Taiton completed surface geochemistry and a maiden reverse-circulation program at the Kingfish prospect, where drilling identified structures, sulphides, quartz veining and anomalous pathfinder elements but no significant gold intersection.
