Pontax is a 304-title lithium exploration property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region. The initial 68 claims covering about 3,613 hectares host the current mineral resource. Cygnus subsidiary Avenir Metals earned 51% of those claims and operates the joint venture, while Stria retains 49%; Cygnus can earn a further 19% under the extended second stage. The property has no mineral reserve, economic study or commercial production. Stria relinquished the separate Pontax II options in June 2024, so those claims are not included in this project.
