BlackRock is a wholly owned integrated development project comprising an open-pit vanadium-titanium magnetite mine and concentrator southeast of Chibougamau and a planned metallurgical complex at Port Saguenay. A November 2022 feasibility study covers pig iron, ferrovanadium and titanium slag production; the current first phase is a 4-million-tonne-per-year iron-ore pellet plant at Port Saguenay.
