The Oakes property near Matachewan comprises three optioned mining leases plus adjacent claims acquired or staked by Sparton. Six holes totaling about 700 metres were drilled in 2020 around the historic shaft area. A later 3D induced-polarization survey defined five priority chargeability anomalies, of which only the shaft-area anomaly has been drill tested.
