Phoenix consists of three Crown mining leases approximately 70 kilometres southeast of the Diavik Diamond Mine and about 60 kilometres from winter-road infrastructure. It hosts the Big Bird and Curlew lithium-rich pegmatites and is subject to a 1% gross royalty sold by Dixie Gold in 2017.
