Kasiya is Sovereign's wholly owned, DFS-stage rutile and natural flake graphite development northwest of Lilongwe. The planned open pits feed staged south and north processing plants using gravity mineral separation and graphite flotation. A preliminary Scoping Study evaluates a potential third, monazite rare earth concentrate by-product stream from the mineral separation plant's non-conductor stream through an add-on feed-preparation, spiral gravity-separation and flotation circuit. The rare earth scope depends on funding and development of the underlying DFS project and requires further studies and testwork, product qualification, and final Class 7 handling, transport and regulatory approvals.
