Aurora is a previously producing underground mine acquired with the Machuca properties and rehabilitated with new power, ventilation, hoisting and rail systems. Development material began shipping in June 2026 and the mining permit was increased to 75 tonnes per day in July, but Soma had not declared commercial production by August 20.
