Pedro de Valdivia's mining and nitrate operations have been suspended since November 2015, although its iodine plant continues processing solutions and iodide supplied by other SQM mines. The 2025 company statement retains 211 Mt of proven and probable caliche reserves and 138 Mt indicated plus 52 Mt inferred resources, all for unsupported iodine and nitrate commodities.
