Star Lake covers approximately 10,540 hectares west of Thunder Bay and hosts two gold and pathfinder till trains whose bedrock sources remain untested. Sky Gold's underlying option provides a right to acquire 100% subject to remaining payments, shares and exploration spending. Under a January 2026 definitive agreement, Gold X2 became operator with exclusive control and may acquire Sky Gold's option interest in 50%, 75% and 100% stages. The assignment and associated share issuances were stated to remain subject to TSXV approval; Sky Gold has not announced completion of an earn-in stage.
