Area 1 comprises the Gangama, Gbeni, Lanti, Mogbwemo, Ndendemoia and Pejebu mining areas in southern Sierra Leone. Dry mining and wet concentrators produce heavy-mineral concentrate that is separated into natural rutile, ilmenite and zircon-rich products using the company's established mineral-separation plant and Nitti port infrastructure.
