Rustenburg is an established underground 4E PGM operation incorporating the former Kroondal operation from 2025. It comprises the Siphumelele, Khuseleka and Thembelani vertical shafts; Bathopele and the former Kroondal mechanised decline shafts; the Waterval, K1 and K2 concentrators; chrome recovery facilities; and surface-tailings retreatment streams. Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves are reported on Sibanye-Stillwater's 74% attributable interest and the headline PGM figures represent 4E platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold.
