Platinum Mile is a 100%-owned and managed tailings retreatment operation on the Rustenburg lease area, adjacent to Kroondal. It recovers 4E PGMs and chrome from historic Rustenburg tailings and live concentrator tailings, then pumps the treated residue to active storage facilities. A coarse chrome recovery plant was commissioned in 2023. In 2025, Platinum Mile treated 9.416Mt at a 0.72g/t head grade and 14.82% recovery to produce 32.303koz of 4E PGMs. Q1 2026 production was 7.718koz from 1.677Mt treated; throughput and chrome output were affected by the slower restart of the Rustenburg UG2 concentrator.
