Mt Lyell is a near-term copper-gold restart project near Queenstown, Tasmania, with an initial 23-year mine life. Following completion of an AACE Class 2 feasibility study and an internal assurance review in Q1 2026, the Board made a positive investment decision, subject to conclusion or waiver of the agreement with the previous owner. Project execution is planned to commence in H1 2027, with first metal production expected in early 2029; the study reports post-tax NPV of approximately US$550 million at a 7.4% WACC, IRR of approximately 20%, and total project capital of approximately US$340 million.
