Mimosa is a shallow, mechanised underground 4E PGM and base-metal operation in Zimbabwe's Great Dyke. Mining currently targets the South Hill deposit through the Wedza and Blore decline shafts using mechanised bord-and-pillar methods, with ore treated in an on-site concentrator. Sibanye-Stillwater owns 50% of the non-managed joint venture, with Impala Platinum Holdings Limited holding the other 50%. The current reserve-based operating plan extends through 2033. A bankable feasibility study has been completed for a separate decline into the adjacent North Hill orebody, potentially extending operations by 10 to 15 years, but the partners have not approved its funding and North Hill is excluded from Mineral Reserves.
