Beatrix is a mature shallow-to-intermediate-depth underground gold operation in the southern Free State goldfield. Conventional breast mining is conducted through No. 1 and No. 3 shafts, predominantly from No. 3 shaft, and ore is treated at the Beatrix No. 1 plant to produce doré. The life-of-mine plan was extended from 2028 to 2031 through below-infrastructure mining, inclusion of the Vlakpan area and a lower annual production profile. No.
