Garneau comprises 120 claims covering 6,450.54 hectares in the Havre-Saint-Pierre Anorthosite Complex of Quebec. Rio Tinto's airborne program outlined an approximately 4.5 by 7.5 kilometre magnetic low and follow-up work found a massive hemo-ilmenite boulder. SAGA acquired the property from Rio Tinto Exploration Canada in March 2026.
