Knox Creek is a producing 88,850-acre mid- and high-volatile metallurgical-coal complex with a preparation plant and loadout. Ramaco acquired a further 24,800 acres of contiguous Virginia leases and properties in November 2025; the active Big Creek surface operation and permitted underground mines use surface, highwall and underground methods.
