Pirate Gold Corp., formerly Sokoman Minerals Corp., is a Canadian exploration company focused on Newfoundland and Labrador. Its principal asset is the wholly owned Treasure Island Project, a 78,100-hectare land package covering 92 kilometres of the Valentine Lake Fault. Exploration combines the high-grade Moosehead orogenic gold system with copper-gold porphyry and high-sulphidation epithermal targets in the Crippleback area. Pirate Gold also owns the district-scale Fleur de Lys gold project and holds a 50% joint-venture interest in Grey River.
