P2 Gold reported that three diamond holes drilled for pit-slope design at Gabbs all encountered gold-copper mineralization around the margins of the planned Lucky Strike open pit. Highlighted results included 0.50 grams per tonne gold and 0.20% copper over 123.44 metres in GBD-039, including 16.76 metres at 0.90 grams per tonne gold and 0.30% copper. GBD-022 returned 25.91 metres at 0.44 grams per tonne gold and 0.36% copper.

The company said the results show that Lucky Strike remains open in every direction. Following discovery of a higher-grade core in the western part of the zone, P2 added approximately 15,000 metres of reverse-circulation drilling to its original 14,900-metre plan. The expanded program will initially test northern and southern extensions before moving northeast and southeast. Results are intended to feed an updated resource estimate in the third quarter of 2026 and a feasibility study targeted for the fourth quarter.
