The Hunter Valley Hydrogen Hub is a commercial-scale renewable-hydrogen facility integrated with Orica's existing Kooragang Island ammonia plant. Its first phase is designed to produce 4,700 tonnes per year of renewable hydrogen for approximately 26,600 tonnes per year of low-carbon ammonia.
