Omatjete is an early-stage gold exploration project within Belmont’s Namibia portfolio. Ongwe currently owns 51% of Belmont and may earn a further 19% to reach 70% by funding US$4.0 million of additional exploration over three years; that commitment was unpaid as of August 25, 2026. Through its 51%-owned Belmont subsidiary, Ongwe also holds an indirect interest in adjacent EPL7400 through Belmont’s 90%-owned Fallout Investments.
