El Sid comprises historic mine dumps and tailings in Egypt's Eastern Desert under a 2018 exploitation agreement between state-owned Shalateen Mineral Resources Company and Z-Gold Resources, a subsidiary 70% indirectly owned and controlled by Nuinsco. The carrying value is fully impaired and no historical dump estimate is treated as a current resource. Nuinsco served a dispute notice after a termination notice and is pursuing a negotiated resolution.
