Newfield's wholly owned Sierra Diamonds subsidiary holds the granted 9.98 km2 Tongo mining licence ML02/2018 in eastern Sierra Leone. The site has underground development and infrastructure but never reached declared commercial production; ACA assumed site management in February 2025 to plan a restart. This current project surface excludes the adjacent Tonguma ML02/2012 deposits after Octea terminated Newfield's tribute and revenue-share rights.
