Independence is MP Materials' wholly owned Fort Worth metal, alloy and magnet manufacturing facility. It began commercial NdPr metal production in 2024, produced alloy flake and finished magnets on commercial equipment in 2025, and continued finished-magnet commissioning and customer qualification in 2026.
