Kameron Collieries ULC, a subsidiary of The Cline Group, owns and operates the underground Donkin Mine in Cape Breton. Morien holds a gross production royalty of 2% on the first 500,000 tonnes of quarterly coal sales and 4% above that threshold, net of specified handling and transportation costs; the mine has been idled since November 2023.
