Mantoverde is a producing open-pit copper-gold mine operated by Capstone Copper in Chile's Atacama Region. Mitsubishi Materials owns 30%. The operation combines heap and dump leaching with SX-EW cathode production and a sulphide flotation concentrator; the sanctioned Mantoverde Optimized project is expanding concentrator throughput from 32,000 to 45,000 tonnes per day.
