The 100%-owned PL Gold Mine is a past-producing development project approximately 12 km southeast of Sherridon, Manitoba. Existing infrastructure includes a 1,000-tonne-per-day processing plant, more than 7,000 metres of underground ramp development and a valid underground mining permit. The October 31, 2017 feasibility study evaluated combined underground and shallow open-pit mining, but Minnova is replacing that plan with an open-pit-first restart concept followed by underground mining. A&B Global Mining is updating the resource, mine design and economics, while separate work is assessing whether processing capacity can be increased to at least 2,000 tonnes per day. The 2017 study economics remain historical pending publication of the new studies.
