Tormin is a coastal and inland mineral-sands operation formerly producing zircon, ilmenite, rutile, garnet and magnetite concentrates. Mineral Commodities owns 50% of the project owner but lost control when the subsidiary entered business rescue in August 2024; the operation is now controlled by a provisional liquidator.
