Corihuarmi is a high-altitude open-pit and heap-leach operation about 160 kilometres southeast of Lima that achieved commercial production in 2008. The company is optimizing the mine's remaining production capacity by rehandling and reprocessing previously stacked material, with conventional mining activity reduced.
