Churchill River comprises retained mineral-sands claims near Happy Valley-Goose Bay. A 2013-effective resource quantified heavy-mineral and Fe2O3-equivalent grades, but Labrador Sands abandoned further iron evaluation in 2017 and now targets feldspar and silica for ceramics, concrete, glass and synthetic silicon carbide. Feldspar and silica are outside the database commodity enum; the historical Fe resource is retained as a secondary commodity with an explicit staleness warning.
