Mesabi Trust is a New York pass-through royalty trust whose principal revenue comes from iron ore mined or shipped by Northshore Mining Company from northeastern Minnesota. The Trust has no employees and does not control mining operations; Northshore, a wholly owned Cleveland-Cliffs subsidiary, operates the Peter Mitchell Mine and related Silver Bay processing facilities.
