Windarra Tailings Project is approximately 18km northwest of Laverton and includes treatment of Lancefield gold tailings approximately 17km from Windarra. Maritana participates through its wholly owned subsidiary Poseidon Nickel Pty Limited under the 31 July 2024 agreement with Encore Minerals Pty Ltd, Mining and Process Solutions Pty Ltd and Encore Resources S.a.r.l. Encore is solely responsible for funding, development, operation, closure and rehabilitation using Draslovka glycine leaching technology. Poseidon is entitled to A$1.25 million in staged cash payments, including A$250,000 received in July 2024, A$100,000 in July 2025 and A$400,000 paid by 30 July 2026, plus a 3% Windarra NSR, 1.5% Lancefield NSR and A$1.6 million rehabilitation bond contribution payable upon execution of the full-form agreement. Nickel-tailings treatment is conditional on improved nickel markets and terms to be agreed.
