Excelsior Springs is Mammoth's principal Nevada exploration project in the Palmetto Mining District. The original Athena ground covers the historical Buster mine and is subject to an earn-in for an 80% interest after US$5 million of exploration expenditure, with Athena retaining a 20% free-carried interest through DFS. Mammoth has expanded the district through direct staking around Buster and the Blue Dick silver-gold-polymetallic trends. More than 21 kilometres of drilling have been compiled around Buster, but no current compliant resource has yet been declared.
