Lynas Rare Earths Limited is an integrated Australian rare-earth producer. It mines and concentrates ore at the wholly owned Mt Weld operation in Western Australia, carries out cracking and leaching at Kalgoorlie and Lynas Malaysia, and separates and finishes light and heavy rare-earth products at its Malaysian advanced-materials plant. Lynas is the only commercial producer of separated light and heavy rare-earth oxides outside China. Its current product range includes NdPr and the separated heavy-rare-earth oxides dysprosium, terbium and samarium. The portfolio also includes a separately reported niobium-rich resource at Mt Weld, a U.S. processing proposal with an uncertain development path, and a Malawi rare-earth asset held on care and maintenance amid a title dispute.
