Lucky Cement participates through joint-venture holding companies in operating cement plants in Iraq and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Nyumba Ya Akiba plans to expand DRC integrated cement capacity from 1.31 Mtpa to 2.91 Mtpa by adding a 1.6 Mtpa manufacturing line; construction is anticipated to begin in Q1 FY2027, with completion within 18 months of commencement.
